When you register for an account, we collect your profile photo, full name, email address, date of birth, gender, your country, your location, your school, your workplace, your website, your marital status, your company website, your personal website, and some words about yourself. All of the above information is optional except your name and an email address, as they are minimum required to open and maintain an account.
All other information you may or may not provide voluntarily in your Profile Setting section. If you do not provide any such information, we do not collect or store or retrieve them otherwise.

Any user can search for your name and see that information if you voluntarily provide them and if you have enabled displaying some sensitive information such as your birthday in the Privacy Setting section.

We use the information we collect to analyze how our website is used, diagnose service or technical problems, maintain security, remember information to help you efficiently access your account (such as keeping you logged-in in your device), monitor aggregate metrics such as the total number of visitors, traffic, and demographic patterns.

Sometimes we need to use your email address to send you network related notices and announcement (such as we have improved or added a new section, a reminder about your monthly fees etc). We never use your email address for unsolicited messaging, marketing, advertising or any such commercial purpose. And we never sell, rent, or hand-over your email address to any third party.
If you personally correspond with us by email, we may retain the content of your email messages, your email address, and our responses.

You also provide us information in User Content you post to the website. Your posts and other contributions on the website, and metadata about them (such as when you posted them), are publicly viewable on the website, along with your name. This information may be searched by search engines and be republished elsewhere on the Internet in accordance with our Terms of Use.

If you choose to use our email invitation service to invite a friend to Electronics People, you will have to provide that person's email address and an email invitation will be sent. We store this email address to send this email and to register your friend if your invitation is accepted, and also to track the success of our invitation service.

Your Payment Method or Credit Card Information:

We do not process your payment. It is handled by PayPal. You put any sensitive financial data such as your Credit Card information directly on their secure website. PayPal protects your financial and other data according to their own policies and just passes your money to us.

In a simple sentence, we do not share such information.
But we may have to disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or subpoena or if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request; to protect the safety of any person; to address fraud, security or technical issues; or to protect our rights or property.
